Pros: Compact, 4 in/4 out, great audio quality, clean headphone amp, Phono pre-amps, Input gain adjustment in software.

Cons: No 64 Bit OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) drivers. Popping and squeal sound when powered up.

This could be a perfect box if the had thought far enough ahead to include 64 bit OS X drivers which they say they have been working but aren’t out yet. This and the fact that when you plug it in it first pops as the device is brought online, and then it makes a high pitch squeal (which I assume is a line level tone for calibration), is why I deduct one full star (and a half). Because of the popping I suggest plugging it into the USB port before you plug in the RCAs outs.

The audio quality is great, like the previous reviewer said: you plug it in and it works. The build quality feels great: It’s a metal case with a this clear plastic display on top. the 24bit/96Khz D/As sound wonderful, and output the highest quality sound you can get for under $200.

If you are a Windows DJ, then this would get 5 stars, but if you’re a Mac DJ, like me, running snow leopard in 64 bit mode like I WAS, then it gets 3 stars. So I’ve split the difference and given it 4. If and When the 64 bit drivers are out I might give it 5 stars if they fix the popping problem too.

Not sure what to say, you plug it in, it works.. Does just what it says on the box.

I use it with Ableton Live 8, turn table in on one channel and master out on the other channel plus some minor cueing on the headphones. No noticeable latency great for the price. If I had more cash one with a tos out would be great just for ease.

Lightweight but rugged, obviously made by people with a clue.
